I created a sales contest named “The Apple Harvest.”
A bulletin board had all the sales people’s names across the tops of columns. There were weekly sales goals. Individuals that met or exceeded the week’s goal would earn that week’s special apple (shown above).
The fun designs of the different apples excited the sales team. The visual of being able to see who was stacking up apples in their column, and who was not, created a sense of competition amongst the team.
No one wanted to be left with a small number of apples.
